This is based on absolutely nothing but a guess - when he talks about how happy the people are, I thought of Disney World/Land - the happiest place on earth where a lot of families go on holiday or vacation.
Probably not

I've been thinking around Belle's castle in Magic Kingdom. "Beauty and Brains" describes Belle and, like you said, "happy" means Disney to me. From there, I think Rabbit goes up the east coast.

I got "SHADOWS OF TIME". Makes me think of a sundial. Disney has (maybe) one of the biggest sundials of the world in Orlando. Pretty neat reading about it.

Thanks to chmaanta I was able to submit a guess tonight, unfortunately I got a NO response. I was very precise with the spot to GPS coordinates, it was not in Disney World but it wasn't that far away. So now to find the more precise spot.

Yes, R3trob1rd... precise is good. There is a definite place for all of them, and something like GPS co-ordinates are appreciated. Great to see people working on the puzzles!

To be more accurate, it was teamwork with r3trob1rd that helped crack things a bit further. If I discover things independently, I'm likely to share solutions freely with anyone who asks because I enjoy the puzzles more than I care about winning. But I will never share work that was done through teamwork.

To see if we can get some other teamwork going here. This precise location is going to be tough to solve I think.
The blue marks on the page with the Rabbit writing and sleeping lead to a City Name, triangles are dots and lines are dashes for morse code. That should help find a specific area in the city to narrow down.
Unsolved ciphers would be the yellow circles with an interesting font and the candle and what I might call smoke maze.
Also the Story doesn't yet seem to really help with precision.

I don't think I am going to be of much use in this hunt :-( Apparently ciphers are not my jam....still can't work out the ones that have already been solved even if I have the method and/or answer lol. I think my strengths lie in other areas, so if I find anything on the back of the cipher answers, I'll be able to contribute :-)

I'm with hyde123 on this one can't get the hang of the ciphers at all, so will never solve it alone!! But am more than happy to share my thoughts and discoveries with you.
I agree with Disney being the starting location (It was my 1st thought when it was said about the happiest place) and I have discovered something which may either be part of a genius puzzle or is leading me right down the rabbit hole. Also I know it's in chapter 2 but does anyone else think the shapes around 'dorothy' look like mickey mouse? I don't know if you have ever heard of the hidden Mickeys in the Disney parks. That did start to make me wonder if the clues are random throughout the book and not always for that chapter. If that makes sense.

I do okay at the cipher/logic stuff but struggle with the "hidden graphics" part of things. Sometimes it appears the artist is trying to hint at shapes and numbers if you interpret things just the right way. I find those types of puzzles offputting and of no interest because they can be so subjective.
On Chapter 1, the letters around the arch on the first page are clearly based on Arabic, but there are "left over" and extra pieces. The orange slices a few pages later spell "OVER EDGE", with "OVER" on the left-side of the page and EDGE on the right. I've wondered if that means "LEFT OVER" and "RIGHT EDGE". So should we be trying to subtract Arabic letters from the symbols? Or maybe match as many Arabic letters to them as we can? Or? These types of things aren't my sweet spot so I'm curious on thoughts.

Chapter 1 has been solved! A few hunters were achingly close, but the spots need to be exact! Good luck!

Anyone solve the yellow and black characters on the very top of page 4? I know the exact answer to this chapter and can share if you can tell me the exact method to solving the arabic looking symbols. I also can tell you the answer to the candle puzzle. It's driving me crazy.
