I don't remember exactly what pine trees would represent on roadmaps but it seems like it was roadside parks or state parks.

Hi all, I have a question that I'm hoping someone will know the answer to: The colour image of the golden apple necklace on the mysterious writings website, has that been taken from the book itself? Not sure if that's a stupid question tbh...
I just wondered as it's identical to the black & white one on the pdf. If it's actually from the book, it looks to me like the necklace is resting on large nuggets of pine tree bark. Not helpful regarding the hunt, but I thought it was interesting 😅

I just double-checked a 1980's State Farm Road Atlas and a pine tree symbol means a park (national, state, provincial) without camping facilities.

But are you guessing here, or do you really know it for sure? Have you seen an original copy of the book?

Go to imgbb.com (free photo upload, not need to register etc if you use the web browser version), upload a photo, set how long you want the link to be valid for, get a URL, post it here 👍 Edit, if you want to be clever with it you can go onto the desktop version of Mysterious Writings and get a bbcode code for the picture from imgbb and paste that in there to it appears in the thread instead of a link.  |
