Hello everyone. I am brand new to this (well, I started yesterday). A couple thoughts if you wouldn't mind answering for a newbie: 1) I see in this thread mention of a "de-layered" PDF. I downloaded mine yesterday and when I put it into acrobat there were no layers. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or what. 2) I think I found a rather significant clue. Like, to the point where it would narrow the location into potentially an acre or two of space. It is the solution to just one puzzle and there is maybe one other piece of information on the scroll that would sort of corroborate it. Since I am new to this, I am not sure how I should take this. I'm 95% certain this clue means what I think it means. But there is so much on the scroll that I haven't used to this point. Are there potentially that many red herrings? Is all that other information going to be necessary to get from a general site to a very specific spot? 3) One other note just to contribute something to the group: if you haven't looked, there was a twitter post on Jan 30th with the #TreasureAwaits tag. It is a picture of the rock that is on the scroll (or maybe one that looks just like it) and has an additional line of text. Happy Hunting!

I'm sure many have noticed this, but the word definitely is spelled Defnitely and realistic is spelled realistc in the de-layered version. No idea what to make of these, but I am sure they are intentional.

A little more research shows this is a meteorological station that anyone can buy for around $300 dollars and register it to share weather data around the world. There are about 30,000 of these world wide according to what I found. It makes sense now that it is in someones backyard. The station seems pretty obscure to be a clue, but who knows.

Meteorological Station Name: Raleigh 9.5 Ene Meteorological Station ID: US1NCWK0091 State Name: North Carolina Country Code: US Historical Country Code: US World Meteorological Organization ID: N/A Elevation of the station (in meters): 73.8 Latitude in decimal degrees: 35.8707 Longitude in decimal degrees: -78.5005
It is a meteorological station that probably collects data and transmits it. It appears to be in someones backyard or small business on Willow street, probably contracted out. I've seen these stations, and they are not that large. 2 men could easily pick it up and put it in place. Certainly I'm not suggesting to knock on their door, but there is a 9.5 ENE weather "station" there. I can only guess the ENE stands for East North East, but I do not know, and it's only a guess.
As far as the tilted guy goes, I think it's a C, but find that one confusing. My only guess it that it is a C, and the tilt is intentional for some reason yet to be discovered.
The 3468 could be the location of an FTD florist partner. My research shows that when you call FTD to order flowers, they contract out to local flower shops who then deliver. These local flower shops have an FTD location number. There is a flower shop at 6308 Angus drive that has an FTD number of 3468. My belief is this is simply another point on the map, just like the weather location.
Please research this stuff for yourself and don't take these suggestions as fact. I am no expert in either one of these areas, and I could be very wrong, so don't get thrown in a bad direction because of me!
Good luck.
Good luck.

I believe the 9.5 refers to a weather station on willow lake rd.in Raleigh. I also think I know what the 3468 means and will reveal it if I get some feedback on this post.
The above comments on the stick men really helped. I was completely stuck on that one.
