I received the correct solution from Larry G. over the weekend. This hunt has been solved and I've awarded the prize to Larry. I'll be providing more details on my site along with a full solution later this week.
Thanks to everyone who bought the book and took a shot at it! It was a great adventure for me to be on the other end (making the treasure hunt) instead of being the one looking for it. I hope it was fun for those who were working on it as well. I'll be sure to do another one in the near future.

The question I want to see answered is whether or not the blank page has a meaning!

The blank page does not have a meaning (other than being required for printing purposes).

I'm hoping you comment on the Fleur de lis, Circle of Friends, and why you included a Grosse Pointe Blank dvd in your cache. More questions coming

Grosse Pointe Blank was included to help point to Michigan as the state where the cache was hidden.
I chose the Fleur de lis because it has religious symbolism which ties into the title of the book. Other than that, there aren't any intended clues embedded in it.

Wow, thanks, martins. This is cool.
I had in my head that the first stanza HAD to be up river from Grand Rapids. I was wrong!
