There is a lot to comprehend in this artwork. Many elements including:
Ladies hair Milk bottle Graphical symbol code Field of stars Musical notes Dulcimer? Title: A Famous Grandson Three simultaneous equations Variables A, M, P Colored squares
Seems like a lot of allusion to mirror imaging going on.
Any ideas or thoughts on a logical starting point here?

One could start in several places. I suggest looking closely at the art.

Love this puzzle, artofhiddenmessages! However, when you say "look closely," does that mean I need a magnifying glass, or was that just a broad statement?

Well, finally got started, once you find one thing, it starts to lead to another element, starting to get really fun!

Meg, to get started, no you dont need a magnifying glass. Look at the various aspects of the painting, look for anything that may look out of place or patternistic. Once I got out of the weeds of the details, something jumped out to me that I was able to interpret. I now have confidence that this is indeed solveable!

Most of you are well beyond this, but one of the starting points, and the one hinted at with Clue #1, was the braille which was hidden in the flowers. It spelled the word, "POEM".
