Joe Meek. Mountain man. Didn't like Colters Hell due to the sulphur smell and hell like qualities of the very active, at the time, thermal area near Cody.

Joe Meek used to car pool with Sharon Brown. But now there's no place for him. Since he can't get to work, he hangs out in the warm waters of his hot tub all day trying to solve the poem.

It's where you or I will be standing whilst reading the inscription on a crypt. It's not a note. There is also no notes to be found. There is also no paper money inside the chest either.

Is it one of the books were post to get clues out of Only book would be TTOTC. Aside from his name, I do not believe Joe has anything to do with it.

in sam lovell's solution- title2thegold.wordpress.com/ Joe Meek was run off by Blackfeet Indians not more than 10km away (no place for the Meek), and the land across the river is also the Gallatin Petrified Forest (no place to be meek!). Furthermore, right across the river from Joe Brown boat launch (“from there”) is a place called Sphinx: a mythical creature known both for its penchant for riddles (which seems to strike me as something which appeals to ff in his setting go the poem), its ferocity (no place for the meek), AND GUARDING TREASURE.

I think this is correct because meek spoke about Mammoth hot springs and said it was like hell, then his buddies found him. I also think Joe brown is right because he lived by himself in the woods, therefore he rocks. Not forgotten is Yankee Jim, he partied everyday like it was 1899 and was like the greeter for Yellowstone since he had the toll booth. Lastly THE SPHINX has sent me down more rabbit holes than I can count, but I'm pretty sure I learned so much I can lick that treasure 🐈 at least once, and that's all it take in this chase so, to, I flip a coin to that.

Go slightly further “down” stream on the yellowstone River in the canyon and there is crystal cross fishing hole. This is also the beginning of paradise valley. The town of Pray is also there.
