What does it mean that some of the symbols are light (white) and some are dark (black)? I've figured out what the symbols are, but that leads to even more questions (of course!) In one of the symbol pairs (6th square down on the right side) the first one is white but the second one is dark. This can't be painted by accident - there must be a reason for doing that in the painting. I have several ideas about what this means, but nothing solid yet.

Oh, I think I've just answered my own question. I just read something the author posted awhile ago on Facebook. Someone had asked whether the colors of the symbols, and the colors of the squares behind the symbols, are important, and the author answered that NO the colors are not important. Including the colors of the symbols. So it must not be important at all. So you can delete this thread if you like, Moderator!

I'm sure others have asked the question, and they might have missed the possible explanation which you have given to answering it.... so I think I'll leave it.
