It just dawned on me what we do, what all we use, in which direction and how we do it! Ya'll are going to be irked by the first step for its' simplicity in style. I don't know if I can even hint, it pisses some people off, even if it's to help so I will just reiterate what The Man has already said, don't overcomplicate. Don't grab, mentally, too hard to it. It will come to you. Ok looks like I have some work to do and am behind.

I assume you mean we should be doing more things in the opposite direction than we are currently used to doing. Of course.... I thought everyone knew that.

I just posted a simplicity on other subject thread. A very good map and the poem is all you need. You are "EXACTLY." right. There's no way to solve the "POEM."with out a "MAP." IMO.You will need your map on terrain settings Now start your measurements this is where all the numbers that forrest have giving us comes in to play. With out these numbers we would really be in trouble.

Read up on how writers reduce their word count. What they get rid of. Read sentence leading up to poem. "THAT >IF< followed" do we follow one of the IFs or is IF following them? Containing means embody, including. Wrote a poem, including nine clues, THAT if followed, WILL lead(multiple defs for lead and diff sounds) to(2?) the+end "of" my(his rainboW) ... So/sow(cut) So I (delete I) by deleting I we get "So wrote"; Sow rote; did we not just sew these two words by sowing I? Colon Simplifying and reducing means also getting rid of -ly words. Like quickLY. Here's a humdinger: 1st line says As I Halve(perfect homonym), if you've been wise, well "have" has been halved within that contraction. I+**Ve= I've. So we have been wise but the 1st line hasn't done this yet soooooooo does this start to give us the order in which to solve the poem? * ,4, 1, 5, *, * ?

Yes tying the end of a word to the beginning of next has been talked about before. Prevalent in solve. But you might want to check the synonyms and idioms/phrases for OF. One is aboard. A board. First one nailed down...
