Well bud... Kind of lost on what your thinking. That is the pic from page 95 of OUAW (ONCE UPON A WHILE) that I am talking about. You ever sleep....or do you have some kind of auto reply app??😎. Crud I'm out of beer again! Scared to ask, but what do you see in the picture? I s e e a gallon tin= galletin. Those are mountain type things in a northern state above Wyoming.

That is a #10 can....they often come filled with camping (shelf-stable) food, can be used to make a fire and be a stove once empty, you can collect water in them when they're empty and then boil it to drink, etc.

Oh, and a #10 can is about 3 quarts (usually 109-ounces), not a gallon....a #2 can is a basic can of soup, so a #10 can is 5x as big.
