Bout a hour up a dirt road on the way to a spot I thought was a possibility. I glance off the road and there it is, mind you a hour up a canyon road. Coincidence? He said his car went missing and didn't know where to in the book. Think this was to setup a clue? Its a weird deal, stone tilted post you have to go past on the way to a gorgeous roaring waterfall also. I will update tonight.

No luck today. I was in the crazy mountains outside Big Timber Montana, Half moon camp ground. Water fall is massive and drops 100 ft plus. Seemed to fit right up to the part where I didn't find it. My son loved it, so in the words of Charlie Sheen. " winning"

The Plymouth was an extremely popular model for one; two, folks used to abandon, push off ravines, drive into ditches, and other things that left the car behind - you'll find them all over the Rockies. I've seen quite a few of that model in my travels, along with many other really old cars, just in the woods, off in a ditch, or other places. I don't see it as a big deal myself.

I'm a car guy, have owned hundreds....just love old iron. Well went back for a closer look because I just had to, it wasn't what I thought it was. This vehicle was not present on older google images either. They actually routed the road around the ranch since last google updates. It was however a 40s era delivery wagon.😉 It sits a ways off the road.

There are a bunch of cars in a ditch near my area - not sure years, but they were definitely old, 30's - 50's....no modern era cars in the ditch; and it was evident no one had been out there in a loooooog time.

I think the chapter about the Plymouth and Chevy refers to stanza one old and new.

I think the chapter about the Plymouth and Chevy refers to stanza one old and new. Using "new and old" as "now and then" works nicely in solving the clue.

How about focusing on “Tudor” instead then remembering the question that “Ms Contrary” sent. Mary, Mary quite contrary. How does your garden grow? Wikipedia really is a neat thing.

A Tudor- Mary Queen of Scots was known as bloody Mary. Also that is where Mary Mary quite contrary may have come from.
