It is so special to me that the coin went to an appreciative owner. Yes, I would have been happy for anyone to win it...but I'm sure from the following part of the email I was sent after informing her she won, I'm sure you will know what I mean:

I've been researching Fenns treasure going on 6 years now so to say I'm a bit obsessed would be like saying the hope diamond is just a lump of coal. I only found out about this coin two weeks ago so of course there were none to be had any longer. I finally found one for sale on ebay, put it on my watch list, set several alarms on my phone to remind me to bid as the auction was ending (yesterday at 4pm), and completely cleared my schedule so I could scramble to win the coin at the last second. However....I am a volunteer firefighter and we got dispatched to a bad vehicle wreck about 30 minutes before the auction was set to end. Right about the time I would have been pledging my life's saving to get my hands on this coin I was cutting a gentleman out of his car and ushering him into a helicopter for air evac. When all that was said and done, I arrived home about two hours later to three alerts on my phone telling me I'd missed out on this marvellous testament to my years of dedication to this fantastic treasure hunt! My disappointment was slighty consoled by the fact that I'd performed a good public service and that there was still a chance, however slight, that I may win your coin. So this is absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you so much for this!
