From The Wolf - This is now the second time Mr. Fenn has explicitly stated ONLY WWWH is the first clue. At one time many a year ago I considered the 9 sentences were the 9 clues. I quickly dropped that flawed logic once it was confirmed but some still insist it is a possibility. He is rarely this clear about things, but for argument sake, if the second sentence is the first clue, then why has he now twice stated that it is only WWWH and and not the whole sentence is the first clue?
If someone can prove this without rationalization I am all ears.

Agreed Wolf. This can help us count the other clues. But we should still evaluate our thoughts.
For example, "If you've been wise and found the blaze." One clue (or two) in past tense. And what order or clue number is the sentence, or phrase? By the way, I think the blaze is in the book (uh oh, here comes an avalanche).
I think it's best to keep an open mind about the chase.

Ff talks about him self in stanza 1 So he starts at a location where. He is giving you duration to a location that brings you to a halt sense it is WATERS.they are many that comes to this .halt.

Rob, IMO all options should be considered as you suggest, until Fenn proves it wrong and then it is time to scratch it off the list and move on. Stubbornness (often rationalized as tenacity), ego and a refusal to adjust can kill a searcher or keep their searching wheels spinning in mud. The blaze may be in the book, I believe it is with a Fenn twist.

Seannm I'm guilty.😂 mikemarcum879, Aren't we all? And what about that 200ft searcher, did they give up or "move on" from the correct interpretation because of a lack of confidence or tenacity? That is unfortunate, at least for them. Seannm
