The 45 should be dropped down 10m that's to far to walk =35° Well then you guys should get a clue because far too many posts simply can't be understood. This stuff that's been going on, for too long now, almost seems like an intended effort to screw up this forum. You show enough intelligence to be able to communicate, yet you guys push out this drivel. I feel like I should take a class to have a grasp on the minute, second stuff. After the degrees, there are 60 minutes and 60.00 seconds. When it goes above 60 then it simply adds 1 to the higher measure. Example from the OP: 45.337788 45 degrees, 33 minutes, 77.88 seconds. You can't have the 77 seconds, but you can have the .88 seconds because that's a decimal of a second, as in 0.88 of a second. The 77 seconds (alone) would read as 1'17", or "1 minute, 17 seconds." (77 seconds minus 60 seconds gives you 1 minute and the remainder of 17 seconds.) So what it should read as is 45.34'17.88". Or, "45 degrees, 34 minutes and 17.88 seconds." There are several mistakes in this OP. First of all, there is no way to get those numbers from Google Earth of any other map. Second, if there are 3 obvious typing mistakes, how can anyone have any confidence that there aren't more? |
