ohm...you mind telling me about the poker poem? Don't tell anyone but I have not read the book. "Life is a game of poker, Happiness is the pot. Fate deals you four cards and a joker, And you play whether you like it or not." You should get this book, at least, if you want to dig out hints. |

Does the poker poem on page three of "The Thrill of The Chase" aid in any way? It did for me. Forrest's differences from Art Gillham's original lyrics were relevant to my solution. |

One thing that bugs me is the map in your book TFTW. It is "way" to "small" to have a tight focus on any real search area! It useless in my opinion. So what are we suppose to do with that map? Maybe not use it like a real map?

If memory serves me correct, I seem to remember that you once said, (something to the effect) that over time the clues in the poem could/possibly change. One thing I have noticed is that the poem I have from 2016 says "The answer I already know," and the one MW has on the website says "The answers I already know,". Also the one I have Public Lands as part of my key/legend and MW has Land Status. Benchmark Maps version on their website is different from the one I have and MW's map. Old Santa Fe Trading Co has only the poem without the map.
The differences between the four are significant in my thinking and approach to the correct solve. Currently, I have discarded the map altogether and have a narrower focus on the words only. For me I'm waiting on this Spring for the training to start.
My question is - Is this what you are referring to about one's focus?
