Sure - WWWH is his temple home, the canyon down is...the cemetery?, TFTW means RUN - and the HOB is the wagon.....of course he has "put in below" it. lol.
Just been wondering lately if some (most?) of the places the clues refer to were in his head when he was a kid and part of an over-active imagination.
I think that partly because I went one a few similar "adventures" as a kid...like camping along the creek and imagining that I was Tom Sawyer, etc... fishing and dreaming of being free and living off the land.

The hints: breath, bearded old man, gypsies dancing eluding to old world faeries/elves(see page with lute lady) and would of course. Always with wood. Freedom also as stated above. Oh yeah cemetery, see meter(In-situ).

Take it in isn't moving down a canyon. Take up has over 55 listed defs in the OED. Take in has many:absorb is just one of Soo many. Wwwh can be steam-exhale. Take air in can be inhale. You see, one must know what exists in stanza 1 to solve the poem. You may number which clue is 1 and call it wwwh or whatever but scentless without stanza1. Sorry senseless. Ask yourself this: why were Jack and Jill running up a hill for water?

It seems to me a good book like journey of the trapper would play a part in hiding the TC. It was one of ff favorite books as a child.

I'm sorry, how was it deeming? There has to be a subject for it to demeen. I was stating my opinion and doesnt it go without saying that anything we say is just an opinion? You seem like a nice person so I won't get in a pissing match with you. As far as humility, have to work on that but I don't apologize for what I know or others don't. As far as deleting my account, probably the best thing anyone could do so that I may finish this faster. But before you do I'd like you to know I have posted more helpful info towards the actual solution than any others, Imo, and will become apparent only after it's over. He quotes at least 4 Yogi Berraisms, he uses Shakespeare character(s) in solution and in his Tyler qa he was giving me, specifically, a thumbs up that I had ID'd someone correctly. Most posters call me DT and two weeks before he posted that was hinting in a manner only he would understand, though it appears Easternohsteve or realisreal picked up on part of it. I posted my name, M. Wiley, to see if he'd throw it back. He did. And no I'm not one of those who constantly think hes talking to them. I'm not a slobbering fan, I'm not an egotistical maniac, I'm simply dead serious about winning this. To solve you must find the bottom. This isn't my opinion, THIS IS FACT! Now boot me. Peace

The following fireplace image from MW is a fair depiction, IMO, of the ' Gypsy Magic' drawing that is being offered:
Luck be with you!

Forrest didn't create the illustrations in TTOTC, Allen Polt did. So unless you think Allen is in on it, any hints in the gypsy fire dancing illustration would pretty much have to be the result of Forrest subtly doctoring the illustration after Allen was done with it. Not impossible, since *somebody* totally doctored the axe man stumps and stars in TTOTC.
