So we have Forrest’s Foreword in the book being very connective to many other statements he has made. We have quest, search, beginning and end, peace, and the use of the key word, contentment.
Is there something more here? Is there another clue to find from these and in the Foreword?
What do you think?

Don't miss any bananas on the way in What about the banana could the creek. It seems weird that ff told us to take in consideration "if." ff just gave us a meaning to a hypothetical "if."Imo ff is using a seance of reverse psychology when he is giveing us a clue/ word.

“A hypothetical example of a “what if” might be, what if I was looking so far ahead that I neglected to notice what was beside me. f”
Or right behind me? I feel like I know what this means. Perhaps someone has been beside it recently, but was focused on something further away. Just a thought. First post here. I hope I don't regret it.

I like the idea of 'right behind me'. Think about those who Forrest said, 'walked right past the treasure'. Might it have to do with them? Great thinking...

Be hide you.ff has said a few gets within 200ft and figure out the first two clues then pass the next 7 clues abravefable idea holds merit.

What if the quest would have ceased if they would have tarried scant with marvel gaze. There must be an attraction of some sort that would bring non-searchers within 2-500'. I feel like even this is overcomplicating it though. If I could get my feet on the floor out there I would be a lot more content, maybe that's wwwh?

In my solve I have narrowed it down from 500ft to 300+ feet. And the 200 feet down to where the creek goes up within 20 feet to 100 feet.Imo where the TC sits

Thanks for the post Jenny. I always like to think about the "what if's". I wonder if the keyword is contentment or is it just peace? I personally still like Pease county for that clue - and I think that at least SOME of those clues are places that no longer exist.
