I had a dream the other night about a jade or jasper stone barrette I found in my dream. It was marked $93,000! 😂 I felt it came from the chest. Has anyone else had a dream about Forrest or the chest?

Not a dream, but when I got on the plane headed for my most recent BOTG, I turned and saw my old boss sitting next to me. He reminds me of Forrest, tall, with white hair, served in the military, and hails from Texas. With a twinkle in his eye, he said, "Go get it, kiddo!" The strange thing is he died last year of Stage IV kidney, liver and lung cancer. I was disappointed that I didn't find it, but now I'm not giving up. I want to start a scholarship fund for families of Veterans in his honor, so that his name* is never forgotten.

My dream was about elephants doing push ups. Then another night I was on a raft with loose wood traveling up stream with white caps feeling all proud.

I had a really strange dream last December about being in the woods and looking at a compass that had an empty hole where the face should be, and a hole in my hand too so I could see through it to the ground below. I usually don't remember my dreams anymore, and when I do they quickly disappear from my memory. This one I remembered when I woke, but I knew I'd forget very quickly so I memorized it right away. I posted about it here, and then I saved my posts which included some research on it. Here's what I saved.
------------- My strange dream
--Original post
I've read other peoples' weird dreams about this treasure hunt, and I had one last night.
I was standing in a woods in the mountains, and looking at either a pocket watch or a compass in the palm of my hand. I'm not sure which it was because the face was empty, nothing there. The weird part was that as I could see through the empty face I also couldn't see my hand behind it, but I could see the ground.
This watch or compass had a lid opened, and on the inside was an inscription. "knave'nbrave wood". (Quotation marks not included.) No capital letters, and the apostrophe was the only one, and no space except before "wood".
The first thing I thought about was the apostrophe and space. And the lack of caps. I would think it should be "Knave 'n' Brave Wood", but I am certain that it was as I said..."knave'nbrave wood".
Weird, why would I dream that? Like that? Do I have a deep inner feeling that I will not find the treasure because I could not see my hand behind that empty face? Do I fear I do not have the direction? Do I think this is not my time? My turn at fate? Am I disappearing?
I'm not making this up, no joke. But it is, after all, just a weird dream. Right?

I didn't know a jack card was called a knave. I searched for "knaven", as in knave-like but there was nothing on that.
So, "knave'nbrave wood" would be a woods that's there for (as in fated) a knave of bravery? Which still seems destined to be "not me", because my hand was not visible through the hole. Hey, the "looking glass"?
Weird stuff here. It's possible that my mind remembers the "Knave of Hearts", but I just don't recall it, I guess.
But I should be happy that my mind's working overtime while I'm flailing about aimlessly. lol

Well, to add to the weirdness, there's a "Knavenhill Wood" in the UK. It's in Warwickshire County, the birthplace of Shakespeare.
And Warwickshire County is right next to Worcestershire County, where I found the information on the Hwicce people, and the word hwicce meaning "chest, hutch, etc.". In fact, the word "hutch" comes from the word "huche", which some think comes from the word "hwicce".
I don't know, I may end up getting freaked out here. Too early to tell.

Shakespeare was born and grew up in Stratford (actually, Stratford-Upon-Avon). This is less than 5 miles from Knavenhill Wood.
Shakespeare had some "lost years". I'm reading about the speculation that he left Stratford because he was accused of poaching deer from the estate of Sir Thomas Lucy. There's a document for the complaint, so this seems more than speculation. Shakespeare turns up in London some years later. So I looked up Thomas Lucy and found his lands were 4 miles away from Knavenhill Wood, and in fact there's a deer park there today. This seems to break the thread at this point as the acreage is nowhere near large enough to get to Knavenhill Wood. Still, if Shakespeare poached in one wood, maybe he hunted in another. ----------
Weird, huh?

I hope whoever finds the treasure will have such a dream of their own and fulfill it so they can go to their own grave knowing they made a difference in this world.

Wow Goldwatch! I am a person that is a firm believer in dreams taken meaning in real life but are a combination or collection of various things mixed together. Your hand you could not see like the hand on a clock. Maybe meaning time lost. Your watch open like a door for all to see. The words on the school house door on FF family trip. Something so small it's hard to see. The tiny wood inside the watch that are so small but the area around you so huge. The thing to think about is the shapes. Watch is a circle with an open glass door.
Very cool stuff!

Had a dream last night that the poem was solved. By who? idk. But it showed the results and I was reading it line by line. I think in my dream it made sense but I can't remember the solve. Darn it!

“Every dream that takes place is certain to happen. Whenever the evil spirits influence it, it is certain to happen. Whenever we dream a bad dream we get a medicine man to perform sing and say prayers which will banish the spirit.” — White Hair Just as few desert people know how to swim, and would feel fear if dropped into deep water, so the person who falls into an altered state of consciousness from the world of modern materialistic thinking, may feel great fear instead of pleasure and the ability to ‘swim’ in it. Even the many people who ‘interpret’ their dreams, have seldom moved beyond the level of thinking, and know nothing through experience of the deep waters of the unconscious. taken from dreamhawk.comI have had dreams related to different aspects of the chase since the first time I read the poem. My active imagination hasn't been the same since.
