45 Degrees North Longitude? 60+30 =90/2=45 to reach one of the states we are all looking for. Because the equator is the warmest 30 degrees and the 60 degrees is Cancer. Take the formula that FF gives up from the horse shoe. Add an inch to 45? 30 degrees = equator the warmest region of the U.S. 60 degrees = Cancer. More cooler away from the equator. Seems very logical. Now maybe find the verticle line that crosses over the 45th parallel. So a mile more north of the Wyoming border to Montana? 45°0′N 124°1′W States Oregon Idaho Montana Montana / Wyoming border (approximate) South Dakota Minnesota – passing through Minneapolis Wisconsin – passing through a 45×90 point (halfway between the North Pole and the Equator, and halfway between the Prime Meridian and the 180th meridian). The 45th parallel north is a circle of latitude that is 45 degrees north of Earth's equator. Half way point = middle. Well that was interesting place on the map. Granite Peak. I think I just found my starting point.

A thread for anyone to post a possible location of 'where warm waters halt'. Please try and limit discussions to 'WWWH possibilities'. Thanks There's one meaning for each clue,I can understand that. But are we hunting for one Pacific thing for each clue. So are you hunting for one wwwh. But the clue is giving us at list two waters. WHAT IF. You have too have more then one wwwh in the location because of WATERS. One meaning wwwh but two meaning for waters in this clue.

Maybe there is a compromise between the waters that causes them to halt in a sense. Or maybe a Wild River becomes a Scenic River then they puddle up somewhere.

Forrest says "There are many places in the Rocky Mountains where warm waters halt (commanded to stop. Noah commanded the waters), and nearly all of them are north of Santa Fe. Warm waters are commanded to stop, and NEARly all of wwwh are North of Santa Fe. The word NEAR Santa Fe. I am not searching in Santa Fe but maybe that's where I should start.

Did a little brain storm writing with action:
Begin it Halt + (knot) take it in down short walk no walk. Put in below place 13 row n.
What do you think?
I feel like I am playing a game of Bingo.

Maybe there is a compromise between the waters that causes them to halt in a sense. Or maybe a Wild River becomes a Scenic River then they puddle up somewhere. Yes I believe in that the waters are being commanded to halt (like a jolt). I feel like something is closing it off and redirecting the warm waters. A dam can well be the starting point below the Brown trout (the mother ship). Top water is warmer so the trout go below deep into the pocket holes where it's cooler in the hot summers. Just when The the frost comes and when the melting of the snow in the mountains brings down the cold water down from the mountains into the lower streams and rivers. Fish feel comfortable and Browns like the water temps cooler. When it does cool they travel up stream to spawn. The bugs start hatching out of their eggs and swarm the lakes and rivers. They have no way to jump the waterfalls so some are below the falls too. Some of the dams have windows and ladders to provide the fish to jump up to get to the higher waters. Some of these ladders were made of wood in the beginning and now they are concert. I know where those warm waters are stopped. There is just one that should fit the poem. IMO that would be Hebgen lake but pp have searched that area. I think we are missing something. One of my solves anyway. Some thing to think about is frost covers the ground before day break. A history of air temperatures and the recent disappearance of snow tells the story. Also like to mention Brown Trout is capitalized if it is a tile of something.

To me though those two lines are tied by the And = + = tie knot and go to next knot.

Just an idea.
If one reads the poem over and over again. Study it. Then read TTOTC normal. Then read TTOTC more slowly. A treasure hunter who seriously wants to find the treasures. (paraphrasing FF). Lot of FF story’s are around fishing, Hebgan lake, West Yellowstone and areas in a partial radius area. IMO that would narrow hoB related to fish or the name Hirman & Brown which was found in W. Yellowstone. I have connected with the past owners of the Silver Spur Cafe and gave them the information that I had found in art relations to Norman Rockwell and Brown. Also if you take FF formula of the horse shoe and the altitude numbers you will have a approximation of the middle altitude but need to add an inch. 5000ft + 10,200ft = 15,200 ft. Divide by two = 7600 ft which is the half altitude of the mountain that came down (quake lake). Then just add an inch maybe a foot? Does this lead us to WWWH?
Then we have a post from someone stating they were playing with the numbers 66,000 links:
“What a strange measurement. 66,000 links or 43,560 feet or 8.25 miles. Fire up Google Earth and you can measure things exactly by feet. I started poking around for things that are 8.25 miles away from other things and almost immediately found this: Measure from West Yellowstone (where Forrest spent his summers) north to the intersection of 191 and 287 (the turn off to get to Red Canyon, where he and Donnie went Looking for Lewis and Clark) and you’ll find it’s 8.25 miles. Specifically, from the base of the basketball hoop in West Yellowstone Heritage Park, to the base of the lower pole that holds the road sign on the east side of the intersection. Precisely 43,560 feet.” Sorry can’t find the name of the person who wrote it.

This would be just like ff.

Colorado:
A WWWH & HOB connection found in front of a concrete teepee that is resting over a natural spring a long with a bronze plaque that is located on a large boulder nearby:
Peaceful.
