I think the 200 and 500ft comments cement the idea that it's within walking distance. I also think it's possible to drive a sedan to the treasure, although the trail may be a riddle with holes. Didn't Forrest say those comments in conjunction with the first two clues solved? This would mean those searchers took it in the canyon down and so the distance cannot be known for sure. |
