Hi Wolf: regarding that 350,000 searcher estimate of Fenn's, I wonder if it's a wee bit inflated? While I disagree with Toby's "order of magnitude" over-estimate, it seems high in light of book sales. I think the last figure I read on TTOTC sales was a bit over 40,000. That's a lot of searchers without a book, even if each book serves a family of 5 on average. For me, it's the book sales figure that matters, because I don't think a searcher without the book has any chance. That is pretty funny Zap! As I was typing that number I bit my tongue yelling to myself "BS how could you type that number without a disapproval disclaimer!" FF uses some interesting accounting, but perhaps 350,000 have read the poem and considered its meaning can count as a searcher, obviously a family won't buy one book per member, so I just roll with it now.

Iron Will has always been a little sensitive. Back in 2015, I posted my theory of time and an example about where the element of time is in the poem and how it is used. No one laughed, all the feedback I recieved really appreciated that part. The Omega connection is my latest reveal of time. The only time people laugh is when the theories are too far out there. I have a few of those, but it is part of the process of discovery. No, he really hasn't. Considering that at the time people were making fun of him for saying something simple, he wasn't being too sensitive at all. He was just reacting like anyone else. And he does have some great ideas. Just like you do. The both of you are among the few who really put out some good stuff. Thank you Bob (and heidini and Jamie). I did not mean for that one statement to carry so many responses. Was just stating what I assumed everyone saw as "obvious." I won't share my opinion on the "TIME" aspect just yet, because it's just not time for that now. Everything in this Chase has it's place, and if I could give some advice to everyone... have a wonderful Thanksgiving, beautiful Christmas, and a reinforced New Year. Because right now... time is on your side.

Moderators: I was wondering if it is possible to create a member's thread (invite) only where we can share more detailed information? I have written much more on my searcher's blog that I would like to share with a smaller search focused audience and receive feedback. The material I have is not for everyone, but there are some who may have followed or are interested in my technique that don't have my book and may be interested in participating in such a thread.

That's a bad idea, Wolfie. Suppose someone tells you a bunch of things that you already know, then you find the treasure, and they sue you with the claim that they helped you find it. You'd almost certainly be able to win (due to your recorded file dates, browsing history, etc.) but the fact is you'd still have to go through the process. And that might well include having your winnings locked up for the time being. Which could last for quite a few months. Settling might be your best option, if they'd accept a small figure, but wouldn't that be the pits? That's why I tell people who PM me that I won't talk in PMs about The Chase. But I do have myself covered, just in case, and can easily prove that I have my own work, so as to quickly end such a dastardly plan with no settlement whatsoever. It's a harsh thing, but it's true that you cannot trust all people, and you don't know for sure who they are.

Bob, I am not too worried about those aspects. I am looking to create a thread to discuss specifically stuff I have already published on my website (which is not forum oriented). It can be confusing for many who do not have my book or read my material to follow or see the links as there are too many. It is kind of like walking into the walking dead in season 5. There is too much background required. Anyway, this would be invite only for those who wish to discuss these topics that have taken the time to read the background info. It is not for everyone, thus why it would be not for ever member here, but rather only those interested.
Also, the concept can keep threads on focus, almost all threads divert from the original intent at some point.

Maybe send a PM to Jenny. I don’t think the forum is set up for that. But maybe there is something?

Jenny has created a new private sub-forum for those who wish to discuss my book ( Finding Forrest Fenn) or any article, follow the star and contiguous clue theory. The password is the same one used to access my searcher's blog at Finding Fenn.com and can be found at the back of my book version 3.5 or greater. It is currently under test but is open for those who have access. The forum can be found at the bottom of the "The Thrill of the Chase (Forrest Fenn Treasure hunt) forum. mysteriouswritings.proboards.com/board/136/forrest-fenn Thank you all who have purchased my book Finding Forrest Fenn and supported cancer research. The Wolf,
As a 9 year cancer survivor along with being a small part of "The Thrill of the Chase"; I appreciate your insights and also applaud your efforts in support of cancer research.
While performing a bit of research into some aspects of NASA and its Apollo program, I found your personal interpretations in relationship to the Forrest Fenn Poem intriguing; however, not totally compatible with my own thoughts regarding the absence of a mention of the invaluable contributions made by "Apollo 16" 1972:
Lunar Module Pilot, Charles M. Duke, Jr.
I hope yourself and others will enjoy learning more about this great human being!

Thank you lookinup I am glad to meet another survivor! I try to do my little part, hopefully, many will all do theirs as we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. I am Apollo fan in general and I think it points to where to begin, among a few other things. Duke is a nice connection to John Wayne. I read something the other day while researching and I saw Apollo 16 but I can't seem to remember what caught my attention. I will continue to keep this in mind.

I found a connection between John Wayne and the initials of Apollo16 pilot, Charles M. Duke Jr. - In consideration of FF's affiliation with the Boy Scouts of America Organization, it was of particular interest to also discover Charles M. Duke Jr was presented with the "Distinguished Eagle Scout Award" by the Boy Scouts.
Additionally; he resides in the town of.......New Brunfels,Texas.
Coincidences, hints or something else?
