Thanks, locolobo! It was the black & white illustrations that I knew I had seen before, though much of the text was also familiar.

For the short time I have been a part of the hunt, I find it hard that the thinking (the public thinking) is that the 2 trips was because the chest and contents were to heavy and he needed to lighten the load. IMO 1 of the 2 trips was to carry what he hid the chest in. People are walking right by it says ff.

IMO 1 of the 2 trips was to carry what he hid the chest in. People are walking right by it says ff. Forrest also said he test a sort of test run to make sure the place would be good. I guess whatever he placed for “x” amount of time was undisturbed so he went ahead with his plans. |

But I believe Forrest took the chest out there in his hiding place and let it sit there for a few years and went back and it was steal there. If you look at the TC real close You'll see green tarnish on the TC. On the edges and where the lid sits and other places on the chest. Why the green tarnish. The TC would have to set out side some where for a while for the green tarnish to form on the TC. The rest of the TC hss been wiped down but not good enough where you can't see the green tarnish. |

Forgot to say the TC was empty on the test run. And it could be that ff cast one just like the TC and hid that one. I know if I came across the TC I would take it. But that's not going to happen because ff said your not going to stumble up on it. I just can't see ff taking a shovel in a area that many has been within 500ft of the TC. Not when there's a ff quote it's better for the fox to dress like the houd.. Imo there's no digging up anything. And he took a back pack hikers uses these on trails. If I'm dressing up like every one else then I'm dressing up like the hiker. I just can't see ff taking a shovel with him in hiding the TC that's to risky if many gets within 500ft. |
