Im sorry but he was denying every Forrest statement that contradicted his solve. That to me, is a perfect indicator of an INCORRECT SOLUTION.

It sounds like Scott had a tough tour in the Middle East, so I lean toward sympathy and leniency for his misinterpretations of pretty much everything Chase related. Hopefully authorities will take his military experiences into consideration during his sentencing. Monetarily he has already suffered plenty for chasing his delusions.
That said, if he ever goes back and digs more, or instructs anyone else to do so, I'd say throw the book at him and lock him up. One warning is all you get.

I have great respect for the man, and his determination. His solution for wwwh does not fit mine, but that's okay. It was interesting. He was thinking! Good job Scott!
I'd recommend he need not dig a pool, on State/Federal land, or any other land. And, no need to tell us it's there as fact. Just road construction fill, or water runoff stuff, whatever. Earlier posts elsewhere indicated the chase was over (I tend to forget those claims) - not good for the chase community.
His so-called "partner/helper/co-searcher rat" (not my words-his) should be a warning to people wanting a pairing. Be careful. Liabilities exist. Be safe!
I agree with Iron that there were many discrepancies with Scott's theory. Is it possible he can move on, learn, and continue the chase productively? Can we, when we hit a road block? I'd like to think so.
