IMO, the corresponding line(s) in the poem are for solving wwwh: If you’ve been wise and found the blaze, Look quickly down, your quest to cease. begin it - quest warm waters - wise people halt - cease look down quickly - Lookout Take it in (gaze at) the canyon down To find a "lookout" that is used to find a "blaze" - look at historical Forrest Fire Stations Lookouts in the Rocky mountains. www.nhlr.org/if nothing else, this site has great maps that allow you to change the "base map" at each location. Merry X-mas, sorry for another rabbit hole.

How I see it you have to get in the wwwh by taking it in the canyon down this is how you get in the wwwh only the canyon is going to put you in below wwwh is. In some way begin it wwwh would be the second clue the first clue take it in the canyon down to put you in side the wwwh.

If you knew what and wwwh the ttotc is,over within a 1 hour . Your walking within the clues this is how Forrest went in there along within the box. This is how close the clues are together the heavy, loads is only 20ft tall. But the 12ft crack deep within. Holds the tc,it's under the water high. But the trail has to be a canyon with the meadows in it this.

If we assume WWWH is associate with a fire lookout, then we need to narrow the search to the specific location. We could assume that WWWH is the fire-lookout itself, or it could be in the canyon down (as you suggested). Or maybe both, Picuris Lookout (www halting fires) could lead to Ponce De Leon spring (www halting disease). lol.

I wonder if we go to the lookout, and gaze into the (home of brown) canyon below, if we will be able to see the blaze.

As some as the warm waters brakes service ground level this is where it changes temperatures. It's the canyon where the halt comes,in.
