Page 214 - Don’t Say The Sky’s Vhe Limit When There Are Footprints On Thr Moon." - Letters substituted for numbers and cross-referenced to the words of the Conclusion. Solved in much the same manner as the puzzle pieces. Typos were checked and rechecked. They are either intentional or a mistake. Fennster and anyone else who solved this one: Could you explain what you did with the CFA? It looks like it ultimately represents the letter p. How did you convert that into a number and find it in the Conclusion? I'm wondering if the V and the r are part of some super-subtle "vigenere" hint, right there on the page facing Fenn's coded words and all. (You can't spell "when there" without "enere," right?) If the F in CFA is extraneous, it could be part of the coded words puzzle (or the forgotten word).

C-3, F-6, A-1 then go to 36 word, possible and the first letter.......p. Now, I would like to think that the v from "vhe" and r from "thr" is a subtle hint telling us to use a vigenere on part of the solve for Forrest's Special Words except, if you look on page 116 and 117 of the book, you might notice that about halfway down page 116 there is a word "tNumerous", bottom of 116 the phrase "an Kid" (should be "a kid"), and on page 117 bottom sentence says "where I hd it". So, we are having an extra "t", an extra "n" and we are missing an "i". Maybe the clue is "tin"? or maybe that means a mispelled "ten". Does that mean "page 10"? Because on page 10 there is that cipher that spells out "Treasure"? Hmmm, and we all know that the word "treasure" was used for a vig in the book.... Also, in the table of contents the chapter on "Bossall Treasure" is actually spelled "Bossall Treausre". Maybe that's a clue!!! MAYBE, just MAYBE the clue we are looking for is in the Bossall Treasure chapter? Maybe we are supposed to take puzzle pieces (all broken up) and turn the numbers into letters. Then, we have to take the puzzle pieces and put them back together again by using page 62, because there is a cipher on that page of 16 boxes AND there were 16 puzzle pieces. Once we have that, we now take the solution to page "16" where we have an unsolved "tree cipher"!!?? and, nobody but Genetic Blend has solved this, that we know of, and Genetic Blend hasn't even revealed the "tree solution". So, maybe the "obscure" thing we are looking for is that link I just made. To solve the "tree cipher" on page 16, we have to take those numbers and figure out what they have to do with that Bossall Treausre page? And, once we solve that, you have your vig for the "svrwy"..... So, broken up puzzle pieces, take to broken up tree thing on the same page number as number of puzzle pieces? And, are these intentional mispellings to help lead us or are they just mispellings? I'd like to think they are here to help us but the rabbit holes we can go down with every mispelled thing takes me right back to feeling crazy.

My response is on the "methods" thread.

In trying to solve the tree on page 16, I have tried substituting the numbers for their corresponding letters in the alphabet and repeated alphabet. I also tried to substitute the numbers for a backwards alphabet with repeated backwards alphabet. I have also tried taking those numbers and applying them, like the last puzzle on 214, and applied those numbers to the conclusion, the forrest fenn forward, the intro, the Personal Reflection on Nicolai Fechin by Forrest Fenn, the back of the book, and the poem on pages 58 & 59. I also tried applying those numbers to the words in the poem, instead of counting letters I counted words. Thinking maybe those words spelled a sentence. And also those words' first letters maybe spelling words.... nope.
