Side rabbit-hole: there is a spirit produced in India called Cashew Feni, made from freshly fallen cashew apples. A college roommate (who had spent much of his youth in India) had a bottle of the stuff in his college liquor cabinet. Must be an acquired taste -- I found it truly horrid. We used it exclusively for penalty shots.

penalty shots; funny. As we know, small distillers are starting up everywhere kind of like the more prevalent small breweries. There is one not far from me who makes a MEAN rye whiskey. 140 proof I think I recall and it burns your nose if sniffed. But with some serious taste. If I find the chest I may send Forrest a bottle of the stuff for him to use as preservative on his final journey. LOL
