Congrats to Allen K.! He has won Forrest's Kitty Name Contest with MEOWTHFUL! He will receive the signed and personalized Too Far to Walk book by Forrest! Thanks to all of those who participated! It was such a fun contest! The judges all chose their 20 top names, then duplicates were taken and narrowed down from there. Meowthful kept being a favorite all the way to #1! Congrats again Allen K. I never did find a "Fenn" label for boozes. I prefer beer myself - wonder if there were any old bottles from the Ghost Town Breweries of the past? Those were the days! You guys ever hear of the Rainy Peak Valley brewery? Boy would I give my right arm to have one of those bottles.

You know how Forrest saved Jackie O's partial bottle of Korbel? Makes me wonder who drank from all those bottles he has saved on the shelf - probably he would have stories to tell about each and every bottle. Perhaps one day soon, he will tell us about them?

Jackie O's bottomless bottle of brandy clearly gets regularly refilled by Forrest. If he never lets the bottle empty, but instead perpetually tops it off to, say, quarter-full, then he can always argue that some of her original brandy is still in the bottle. ;-)

I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't kept a list to attach to each backup bottle as it's used. And Zap, that's right. A perpetual fountain of Jackie O's Brandy.

I think Forrest's Kitty Name Contest sometimes needs something international. I would recommend choosing japanese cat name . It will be very unusual and special.

Hi Joe: well, we know he drinks a martini once a year just to remind himself that he doesn't like them. ;-)

Very cool Zaphod. I did not know Forrest imbibed. I wish I knew what type all those spirits were...... FF hung out with Eric Sloane, and I always think of "Seventeen Dollars a Square Inch" in TFTW. That's where there's an illustration titled "Eric Resting", with him laying under a table (which means being drunk) and two champagne glasses and what looks like a squid on top of an ice bucket on the table. A short list: The Fenn Labels of booze bottles on the shelves in his office- Tequila and Gin. Jackie Kennedy's Korbel Brandy. And the single malt scotch that FF was going to take into the desert if his cancer returned. There's also the beers. There's probably more. But the drinks mentioned probably do offer hints. He's got hints in everything.
