Yes I have, and like nkown, I too am not nuts. Unlike nkown, I thought my problem was not having the last part figured out...while that was partly true, I now understand I didn't fully comprehend how to approach the poem and have since made my adjustments; adjustments I believe are necessary to tease out the answers to the clues. I could be right, likely I'm wrong, but I won't know until May, when I can go back to my area....so I wait. |

The location we seek is in TTOTC, multiple times...and it's not numbers like OH! has, it's the location, again and again....you know, Fenn likes to repeat himself.

Sorry Robert, but your criteria of a path that is "obviously correct" is if others "believe in it", does not meet my criteria for someone being on the correct path.
Please provide a subtle hint as to what you believe the "obviously correct" path is, use your imagination. If your hint strikes home you will receive an email, otherwise good luck.

I still think that most people have missed the mark, even with the starting point. As always, just my opinion. We all have our ideas as to what might be right or wrong - just like Oh's 109/43. I always had doubts about Kirwin, but it's hard to dismiss the numbers.
That said, I've had a few solves which I think explained nearly all 9 clues - but always felt like I was "stretching" when I got to the last two or three....and that probably isn't right either.
I just hope someone solves it in my lifetime. My expectation is that it will be many more years before anyone does.
I still think it's either Wyoming or New Mexico....just my personal/gut feeling....as I haven't found any REALLY good solves for the other two.
I also still think there's something to his saying that he made two trips "IN" his car vs "FROM" his car and that "an 80 year old man isn't going up and down a canyon" - (see my Canyon post for those).
In short, it seemed to me that he made two trips "IN" his car, which would mean NM - and that WWWH isn't water - and Canyon isn't a canyon....have to get back to the imagination to solve it.
