Who is the man of adventure? Is it a statue? Is it something else?

"A man of adventure stands... At the beginning" The beginning of man of adventure is moa, which may hint at Moai, the name for the famous statues (of men?) standing on Easter Island. There are several Moai statues (mostly replicas) standing in the USA. Could there be a Moai at the end of the hunt? Going off your theory, if you look at the chess piece window (the queen) the two blue areas on the sides of the piece look like two Miao statues |

I don't play chess - so may not win this game. My backup solve involves the rook. But what do I know? |

I think some of the clues in the painting and verse point to businesses along the route to the casque. Thinking along those lines, perhaps this is a "man of adventure stand"  |

Notice it says A Man Of Adventure Stands (not Men Of Adventure Stand) so its likely to be one man that is at the beginning and end of a single route such as a loop. The Daniel Boone Statue is at the beginning and end of the scenic loop in Cherokee Park, Louisville, Kentucky |
