As I have gone alone in ther--E With my treasure bol--D I can keep a secret wher--E. And hint of riches New and ol--D Is Forrest telling us the poem is a DEED In Stanza 1. Forrest said at the age 87 he could go back and get "IT." Is Forrest replying "IT." Is the treasure chest did Forrest name TC "IT." If I were so ""INCLINED." I think. Take it in the canyon down. For forrest to be able to incline. He would have to take "IT."up where the canyon ends at down.. Or Forrest is saying he can get down the canyon easy. But does he have the strength to come back out of the canyon. |

(In my view)
That was to address your question about IT
The poem connects the beginning to water.
IT = water
You will take water down (its too far to walk because youre not walking, youtr in the water, until you put in)
END to END of this part of the puzzle is not walked
(also, to address your other part, about walking into the canyon, i think forrest said that he did not walk down and up a canyon)
