The Hoosier sisters made a very good case for the nine clues being the nine sentences in the poem, however, I have since reconsidered. An interviewer said to Forrest, "Begin it where warm waters halt and take it in the canyon down. Not far, but too far to walk. Put in below the home of Brown. That seems like a couple of clues to me". Forrest responded, "that sounds like three or four to me". For me that says the 9 clues cannot be the 9 sentences. I do not have the nine clues nailed down yet but I'm leaning towards: 1)wwwh 2)canyon down 3)hoB 4)no paddle up your creek 5)heavy loads 6)water high 7)if you've been wise and found the blaze look quickly down 8)brave 9)in the wood

I haven't watched the Hoosier Sisters latest video yet, but I admit to a bit of disappointment that this theory still enjoys any speculation. The 9 sentences=9 clues theory was killed the instant that Forrest said WWWH was the first clue, coupled with his statement that the clues are in order.
Even without that, he more or less admitted there were more than 2 clues in the (2-sentence) 2nd stanza when he countered the reporter's comment about there being a couple clues there with, "Sounds like 3 or 4 to me." Kaboom, mic drop.
The 9 sentences=9 clues crowd are a dying but not-quite-dead-yet breed, and I suppose the stubborn will continue to manufacturer excuses for Forrest's ATFs in spite of his "no wish to receive / no subterfuge" remarks.

You are right zap. 9 clues do not equal 9 lines in poem. Why aren't more people looking at the breaks in the clues from the poem in the ttotc book? The picture teachers with ropes seems to split them apart and roll them together.
