There seems to be some Farsi or Arabic writings in the marked stone blocks. Since the image 8 is modeled after a Masonic tracing board the one in the middle looks to me like Allah where "G" goes on the board but not sure. Hopefully someone can read those or knows someone that can.  |

i flipped it horizontal and slightly blurred. looks like a digital scale or register. blue panels have letters? looks like a srawberry poster on the right.....  |

My theory on Houston: "No lion fears" is the key stanza similar to "Feel at home" for Boston. Remember the Persia connection to Houston. And also similarity of the painting to the Masonic Tracing Boards. That lower large flat stone next to the fallen column is where "G" for god would be. I believe the writing on that stone is Allah in Farsi or Arabic. Early 80's and Iranian revolution just happened. Persian monarchy fell like the column and Islamic Republic was born. Allah replaced the lion on the Iranian flag. Yada yada yada... lion drinking fountain in children's zoo (small of scale). Here are two images of the base of the column taken from the original book. Do you see the lion with wide open mouth and a couple of numbers?    |

I hear ya. Sometimes I think BP did a trick on us and switched the SF and NY images.
Afterall the pearl in the center of a hexagon halo in image one sounds like the description of NY County Supreme Court; at Pearl and Center Ave, circle in the middle of a hexagon building at the edge of Chinatown, NYC. Also Ellis spelled out by the dragon starting from the tail; capital E.

EXACTLY. i am working to overlay the images. my thought......the alignments of the rose leaves and the 3 bubbles and jewel. perhaps switched? or blended?. my photoshop skills stink....onward

I haven't heard of this either, but concur with Sluggo that this event happened too late to be relevant to The Secret. I'm not sure exactly when the book was released in 1982, think it was the fall? In any event there has to be time for Byron to craft the verse and JJP to paint the image, so my best guess is any event that happened after mid-1982 at the latest wouldn't be relevant to the book. |
