SF is my local casque and my first end to end solve that actually makes sense. I am most passionate about this casque and would love to actually have a conversation with someone equally passionate about this casque, like MaltedFalcon. My solution starts with the immigrant stories associated with Lincoln Park, before it was a park. Lincoln Park is the western terminus of Hwy50. CA Palace of the Legion of Honor in the park has architectural elements in the illustration. The capital letters anagram i came up with is FARTHEST JOINT IN GG, using all letters. Cliff House, the object od Twains attention. To make a long story short, when i stood on Mile Rock Beach in the same place Byron did to take his picture, I can easily explain the split rock symbol at the bottom of her cloak and her shoulder on the left aligns with the shape of the LEP cliff face. i assume others have identified the other hiking symbols on her cloak. like end of trail and cairn. MRB is at the end of trail and littered with cairns. Any other Lincoln Park to Lands End Point and Mile Rock Beach enthusiasts?

just trying to show there are clues deep in and cloaked by the artwork, in my opinion. Suspend disbelief, relax your eyes. even a peripheral look can help. 1 shows features actually shadowing the moon. 2 looks like a lower case r. 3 when oriented up, looks like a clock showing 10 till 2. i believe those are deliberate in the art and i need help identifying. i believe every line, every brush stroke and every space on the canvas was used. i "see" lots of 'deliberate' in the dark areas on either side of the cloak. can you? onward.

so may i ask, does everyone have the book, cause that does make a difference or are we just going with image and poems?

We've been referring to clues in the book i.e. Mira Chimera and West Ghost and other images as well as text in the book. I have the original book and I think the regular posters here have at least the pdf version of the book. If you don't have the book it's available for free in digital form at 12treasures.com Click [English ed.] Also Japanese book clues and podcasts.

i have a book, canadian print, so it is only 70% right. 😋 I do images but will weigh in on verses. others are much more creative there. btw, looking at image signature and what is around and under it , the underline is the giant pole. my two cents. working to make it a dollar. oh yeah, the pic i attached. from the book illustration. map of aquatic park, lookingfrom westish to eastish at high angle. the bright spot at bottom is your wall, bumps on top! bright spot in middle is speaker tower, to left is curve of the water. now you can find the maritime museum. enjoy!

I also have a copy of the reprinted book, although the image pages aren’t great so prefer the digital version. I’m of the opinion that there are clues in the images throughout the book and that there is a third element (fair folk category match) that goes with image and verse. This element is what really sold me on Aquatic/Maritime Park. You can stretch image and verse to fit all kinds of places and things around San Francisco, but when it comes to the fair folk all the clues lead to Aquatic/Maritime Park.

The PDF version is good to have as a tool. The text is word searchable and that can make life a lot easier. For example since we know The secret is the book referenced as a puzzle clue in image 13, I searched for the word Valkyrie (since it has KY in it!) and voila! Checkout Geodesic Gnome.

Hardcover books are from 2015 reprint. My sympathies! Horrible image resolution. Try finding a 1982 print. People are still finding them at garage sales and Goodwill stores for $1.99 I paid $45 for mine last year on eBay.
