Hi TxTH: good to see you're still kickin' around the treasure hunting blogs! Are you and your wife still pursuing Fenn's treasure? I ask because you are (or at least were) on my short list of folks who IMO had excellent intuition about the Chase back when you were searching years ago. In other words, I would put you in the same camp with Diggin Gypsy: someone who has good insight into how Forrest thinks.

Hey zaphod. Yep, I'm still hanging around. lol Thank you for the compliment though that's a pretty steep standard to match up with Diggin Gypsy. I think coming from the same "generation" and areas of Texas helps me try to think a little like Forrest. I think he and I were also raised with the same family values and small school discipline. I haven't been doing much with the Fenn search directly lately but it is ALWAYS in the back of my mind. I still have places I would like to check out but just not sure when I will ever have the time to get back up that direction. How have you been doing? Are you still active on the Fenn search? I hardly ever make it back to Dal's site. The once or twice I did I didn't recognize most of the names of people posting. As for now I spend a lot of time right here on Jenny's forum but I very very rarely ever look at the Fenn forum here because it is much like all the others with some of the weirdest theories and ideas imaginable. I truly don't see how people can come up with some of the stuff they do. That is why I have looked at nothing but what I personally have researched and do everything I can to avoid the "group think" that people in the forums try to attain for some reason. The Secret by Byron Preiss is another example of people coming up with strange ideas and trying so hard to get people to work in groups "for the common good". I can understand that philosophy in some ways but I guess I have always been a loner. I have shared a few ideas but I keep close to myself most of my ideas. Mainly because even though they are built on my research and interpretations if I post them I would probably get my ideas ripped to shreds by people that have no clue. lol Take my post of my wife and I's search for Fenn's treasure that I posted at Dal's site a few years ago as an example. ( dalneitzel.com/2015/10/28/ttotc_solution/ ) There were so many great comments from so many people. But it didn't take long for other people to jump in and start to correct me and to tell me where I went wrong and how I should have done what THEY said. Really? I stated at the beginning that I knew this was way off and that I had forced clues to match what I wanted. Oh well. I guess it will always be like that. And while I'm ranting and raving (lol) I love the people that post things on the forums and expect recognition for what they have "discovered" and posted for us to see or they even want a share of whatever might be found. Are you kidding me? I hate to break it to them but there are a lot more people that probably found what you "discovered" way before you that didn't blab it on the forums! You (and I) are not unique. Wow! How did I get off on this tangent? lol I'm sure I have ruffled a few feathers here but... oh well. I'm an old man and I can say what I want. lol Of course within Jenny's firm guidelines which I so heartily agree! Love you Jenny! Disclaimer NOTICE: All of the above is "IMHO". lol TxTH
