The prizes were kept secret until the hunt ended, because the subject matter of the prizes had something to do with the solution. I was so surprised when one of the prizes turned out to be a painting by the author of the hunt - Beth's own painting!! It's been a long time since I have won *anything* and I can't even express how happy I am that THIS happens to be one of the mystery prizes. This painting has the words of "The Tell Tale Heart" written all around it. The artwork is truly wonderful. I like to view paintings like this from a distance, across the room. Sometimes things strike at you from a distance. Poe's spirit animal has the same inscrutable expression as he does!  The stamps and the skull coins are really great too! Looking forward to the new AOHM hunt, "The Wizard of Oz". Everyone who registers for the hunt before midnight on the 15th will be entered in a drawing to win Beth's Wizard of Oz painting. |

What you call "coins" are .9999 pure silver. There are some for the Wizard of Oz Hunt too, but they have a different image on them. No stamps this time...something better!

I woulda thought it was resting on cement. I don't see where it says chalk.
