Not sure if anyone is still working on this but I think like the first clue pointing to letters, there is more to this clue. The Q and A is exposed as well as the card pointing to U and H and the letters TR from Trove, you can see the other letters on the book have been blurred. I feel like there is more letters in here that are missing, maybe the coin setup is Braille... but so far spells
QUART H the fact there is a quarter in the picture and it is pointing to Quart there has to be a reason!
i don’t know how to upload image to show what I’m talking about 🤷🏼♀️

We'll see if I was right about this clue. If you zoom way in, you can see that there's a little pointer right at Captain Hook's mouth formed by the edge of the paper. She uses the word 'smile' in the book exactly 21 times. So I thought this clue was indicating a state park that has to do with 'smile.'
My first guess was Pisgah State Park because 21 and smile anagrams to 21 miles. Pisgah, which is NH's biggest state park is exactly 21 square miles and it is in Cheshire County. But I thought it could also be Ellacoya State Park because it is on Lake Winnipesaukee which means "Smile of the Great Spirit."
My theory was that these clues solve to different state parks in New England ("You've likely come miles") and combined they somehow point to the final place using 284.

Your theory? Does that mean it wasn’t your parents who found it?

No sadly it was not them, this was my exact spot, I sent this theory to Jenny back in May.... my parents were going to go today but then I saw it had been found. I feel better knowing they were looking in the fall, but if it weren’t for stupid COVID my parents would have been home sooner and probably found it first... oh well on to the next hunt!
