Hi astree, " It was 3/18/2014 during a visit at his home. On my document I have written ' Every line has a key word (or word that is key). " www.chasechat.com/archive/index.php?thread-8979-4.htmlSo, it would appear that Cynthia is the original source for that information.

. Thank-you, rolltide. That is the quote, I believe it's been requoted during the recent discussions ... and realizing that it's second / third hand.
Tarryscant.com is a great resource, and I had checked it, but couldnt find it there. As Jenny wrote, the more recent quotes are often not there (or, not at all?), and I'm not sure if tarryscant provides second hand quotes ... I usually only find quotes directly from Forrest.

Tarryscant also doesn't contain Scrapbook or book quotes. It's a great resource, but it hasn't kept up with transcribing the large number of fairly recent video and podcast interviews.

Well that sure seems to strengthen the nine clues being the nine sentences theory, but I already knew this well before Cynthia posted this hint from Forrest. I mean if almost every line has a word that is key then almost every line in the poem is important thus they cannot be so easily discounted. Some things are just too obvious. Seannm The first clue is wwwh The clues are contiguous Sounds like three or four clues in the second stanza Follow the clues in order All stated by Fenn. Almost every word is important, but there is not a clue in every sentence by Forrest's definition of a clue.

, If Im following Forrests reasoning, line four certainly contains a clue. And i believe every line has a word that connects points on a map.

As Jenny wrote, the more recent quotes are often not there (or, not at all?), and I'm not sure if tarryscant provides second hand quotes ... I usually only find quotes directly from Forrest. I definitely would note that this is second hand. I used this quote (or my version of it, which comes from a comment I heard Cynthia make on a Youtube channel) on a different forum recently (making it third hand, if that's where you saw it). Personally, I distinguish between Forrest's public/private comments, and I distinguish between the things I've seen/heard Forrest state myself and those that I've seen/heard second hand, third hand, etc. Most searchers probably do the same. Either way, for me, this is something Forrest apparently stated privately. In this case, I trust the source (Cynthia), but that doesn't mean she's infallible (and she admits, e.g., that she doesn't remember if Forrest said "a key word" or "a word that is key"). Just because I have something second hand doesn't mean I dismiss it outright, but I do tend to give it less weight.

Forrest has said there are no Keywords in the poem. There is a word that will aid you more though. KP and MC interviews. He absolutely did NOT say there is no key word (or keywords) in the poem. I'll post my entire transcript to prove it.

I'll post my entire transcript to prove it. I am reporting only his words in the last interview he has done. He said it as I quoted. Mike asked him and he answered. Cynthia asked if it was in the poem and he said yes. Link to show that aired 12/16/2019: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmMX_z_mgFk&fbclid=IwAR3GMFHU9ivprN8jIQGlpdxR1WoT59BjnM-q0IUohsv3CAZ4FkSAamsev08

Richard: reread your original post. You are contradicting yourself.
