PRIZE #2 HAS BEEN CLAIMED!
At 5:56am Monday morning, US Virginia time, I received a valid Prize #2 submission email with a complete list of where all kodewords were found from Team oztuzzlers (Pon, 12eV, BT, and Conqueror from Thailand and the US).
At 6:49am Monday morning, US Virginia time, I received a valid Prize #2 submission email with a complete list of where all kodewords were found from Katherine Gordon of Lightwood Games in Staffordshire, UK (who worked with Chris and Helen).
At 11:47pm Monday evening, US Virginia time, I received a valid Prize #2 submission email with a complete list of where all kodewords were found from Clare Crawford from the Boston area (who worked with Lara and David, from near San Francisco and Boston respectively).
As these submission were within 24 hours of the initial correct submission, the rules state that Prize #2 shall be equally divided between these submitters.
24 hours have now passed from the first receipt of a valid claim for Prize #2, so no more valid claims for Prize #2 can be made and Prize #2 is now considered fully claimed and will be divided between these submitters.
Congratulations to the winners!
HONORABLE MENTIONS
A team of Ingrid, Alex, and Matthew from the UK was the first to report having cracked the long ternary Ls.
Participant Yanaphat was the first to report finding the 27th stage-two kodeword and was the only participant to report finding that BEFORE KA4 was posted.
NOW WHAT?
I hope folks have enjoyed working on the challenge. Now that prizes have been claimed, I'm happy to provide any hints or spoilers privately to anyone who asks. I do ask that other folks similarly feel free to offer whatever private help that people ask for, but please continue to not post public spoilers just so people who want to continue working on the challenge without spoilers can do so.
If you want to discuss the challenge openly and possibly WITH spoilers, I ask that you do so only on the MW "Spoilers and Discussion of Kodewords Kards" thread below.

I plan to release my full writeup of the solution in a week or so. I will release this privately to anyone who asks for it but again I do not plan to post it publicly.
I'd love to hear any general or specific feedback on the challenge! Feel free to email me at any time with any thoughts or suggestions: "I loved this!" "I hated that!" "Next time you might want to do this instead" etc. Obviously, I struggled with finding the right balance between giving enough hints so the puzzler-hunts didn't lose interest but not so many hints that the treasure hunters complained about being pushed too fast.
Thanks for participating!
Bill
