Agree, I've been stuck on "buried" meaning literally buried or below

I don't know about that specific thing (class of 2018) but I'm still insistent that mini hunt 2 reveals some of the process Lukas takes to make riddles like the one for key number 2. That mini hunt took months to figure out and I remember that it was about stanzas where it lead you to a street, relating to that street you had the building with mother lode where they had AA meetings and he reasoned that to being men holding hands (sorry I'm sleepy not the exact words) and mother to something else I'm not remembering now, so I can totally see as what happens in those buildings being related to clues in stanzas. Today I even lurked around Gold Beach Facebook group but with covid you can't find much about community events and such. It does say the second key is buried. Why would it use that terminology if* it wasn’t hidden under or inside something. Lukas never according to my knowledge said the first key was ever buried. Just that we had to find the 3 parts. I just saw the class thing. Myrtlewood is still on the location confirmed by Lukas, it does have chairs facing two food places so they are equals but who knows....I'm grasping at anything here. mv, rechecked the image and it appears not to be included in the red area

As far as I know we have to look between Saharan st. And 1st. I’m not sure if Lukas line is exactly as long as it should be or if it’s more general . Because this will mess up the entire solve if we are discounting buildings we shouldn’t be ! Edit: also wondering if we need to get behind or on the side of any of the buildings or if we can stick to store fronts.

I say don't get caught up on the wording. Check out the solution for stanza 4 to see how he sometimes plays fast and loose with wording.

You can't see the man sitting on the chair on the sign of the bookstore unless you look at it on its side

Irrelevant but if you google gold beach treasure, they have treasure hunts in town with glass floats.

A little bit of interesting trivia: in 2019, Gold Beach was awarded a grant to preserve the ace building (it was gold beach's original hospital. A cross appended, anyone?) and a building that used to house an auto shop. Which can be thought of as competition if you ask me.

What I'm still unsure about, is where the cipher only leads to the location (a specific building imo) and we have to use the original poem to solve the key from there, or if it plays a bigger role.
I have found the location with lines 1,2 & 4 of the cipher and didn't really need 3, which I find odd...

According to one of the hint videos it's "a cross appended". Where did you see this? Fishmini is correct and I (Chipveres) am wrong. I was imagining a video that never existed.

Oh, that's interesting about the ace building having been a hospital. I like that connection.
