But the poem is straightforward. If you can figure out the clues there. www.stitcher.com/podcast/isaac-cole/on-the-road-with-charlie/e/50089487Question: Will you find yourself switching back? Making a loop? Answer: Would I find myself switching back? I think I can say no to that without giving away too much of the clues. -Moby Dickens Bookstore Q/A session

Interesting me9.... do you think these quotes suggest where we start (WWWH) to the last clue (which I personally feel is the Blaze) is all in a relatively straight line.... no switching back, no circling, just straight forward?
seems like it to me....
which sort of negates my once upon a while thought about finding WWWH, driving down the canyon, parking, and then hiking back up towards WWWH (in that canyon)......

..."without giving away too much of the clues."
He can say "no" to that without giving away too much of (plural) clues......hmm.
What might that tell us?

I think that was simply a question that was vague enough that it could have been interpreted a number of ways

..."without giving away too much of the clues." He can say "no" to that without giving away too much of (plural) clues......hmm. What might that tell us? He didnt answer about loop. Switching ( the ) back? Of what ? I agree. If he chose to address only the "switching back" part/version of her question, then a switchback is a rather specific thing when it comes to hiking trails. As such, he could easily "say no to that" if the correct path through the clues involves no human trails. No human trails --> no switchbacks. And by prefacing his answer with "I think I can say no to that" he also gives himself a bit of an out.

What if the question can't be answered correctly? I think someone, here or on reddit, asked a similar question about the shape of the search. They were thinking it might be round/circling back. I am not sure this is the right question. I could be on crack though.
