There is a YouTuber called Smell the Sunshine who recently put out a video regarding the Important Literature chapter in TTOTC which has attracted some attention. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfJtYxd0Me4&feature=youtu.beIt has been said that Forrest sent out an e-mail to some family members and searchers regarding this person's video. I cannot personally confirm the e-mail because I did not receive it, but it got me thinking, if this were true, and Forrest had interest in this persons vlog, why? So I'm sitting here writing a list of things related to "sunshine" and had a thought but not sure where it leads... sol - solo - alone el paso - known for The Sun Bowl - el paso means step in Spanish Florida the Sunshine State George Burns in movie “The Sunshine Boys”...BOOOM!!!! Forrest quotes/misquotes George Burns (bringing attention to George Burns). Well, according to wiki, "Al Lewis (George Burns) and Willy Clark (Walter Matthau) are two elderly comedians who were once a popular vaudeville comedy act known as "Lewis and Clark" and also called the Sunshine Boys. Have we been chasing the wrong Lewis and Clark? Is Forrest pointing us to "Sunshine" for some reason or is it simply that he liked this person's video and what he had to say...

Yes, Forrest sent myself that email, with others attached, asking if we knew 'who is this guy who says so much about me?'.... I think he sent a few different emails out to different folks.
Is there something in the video? or had that person asked Forrest about his video, and Forrest is merely sharing it...because it is something he enjoyed watching (but not necessarily with any clues)?

I really enjoyed the video on "your effort will be worth the cold". Great way to really think about all the words used in the poem.

Could be as simple as that and that was my first thought but I do find it odd that he felt the need to share it with his family members, don't you? Obviously they know how involved their father/grandfather is with The Chase but did this vlog say anything that hasn't been already said...I'm not sure. It was very well done and Sunshine is easy to listen to, that is true. But all that said, the string of thoughts from George Burns to The Sunshine Boys to Lewis and Clark may all lead to something. It's important to note that the mention of George Burns IS on the page of the poem.

George Burns angle is very interesting.
I don't know the date of the email but it could be something as simple as Dal having mentioned those videos on his blog recently. Maybe Forrest read that, checked out the videos, and really enjoyed the quality. They are well made.
Now when is Forrest going to start asking about that brilliant poster named Dalby? 😉

I found it very intellectually put together. I know Forrest would admire the effort put into the video. I believe it raised his eyebrows simply because of the dissection and tells more of who he is and speaks of a few achievements. I enjoyed it. Now I'm waiting for Mr. Sunshine to get to the end of the book. Maybe there's another video in the works already.

What scrapbook did Forrest say it's in the sun but the treasure isn't?

This quote from The Rubaiyat by Omar Khayyam (TTOTC p. 101) can also commonly be found on sundials. Time seems to be an important and recurring theme.
The moving finger writes And having writ moves on Nor all thy piety nor wit Shall lure it back to cancel half a line Nor all thy tears Wash out a word of it. ...

Hi Jenny- although I feel certain that Smells the Sunshine frequents your wonderful MW board, I am not the author of these excellent videos. I must say tho that I am in 100% accord with his prioritization. BTW, I am now of the opinion that Forrest has provided at least two major clues to the search community in his Q and A’s with you that give direction to the treasure.
