Forrest sent another email to say Smell the Sunshine posted another video. This one on the Yellowstone Chapters...

Well it's official then, three times, we need to listen. Forrest is steering us all to The Sunshine. It would be arrogant on Forrest's part if it were just to hear Sunshine's gleaming characterizations and positive attributes of Forrest but I don't think it's that at all. Sunshine is the Cliffs/Sparksnotes of the Chase - meant in the most positive light of course. Who needs the book lol I could listen to him all day!

Sunshine's video about Catcher in the Rye was, at least for me, was like someone turning on a light in a dark room. I could not for the life of me figure out why a guy like Forrest would be so worked up about the little things. I loved and hated the book back when I was kid. Mostly I hated it because I had to read it. I did love how it started (the Martian, for me, has the best opening line.). Sunshine put that in perspective. I had to pull over and watch it again just to take it all in.
I like one of Sunshine's points (at least I think he said it. It may have just been me justifying that section.) that it might turn off people who might not be accepting of Forrest? I have wondered if it changed the dynamic of who plowed a head and read more and who turned away?
This last video is amazing with its depth of research and depth of analysis. (I am so glad cell phone cameras were not around when I had the freedom to and was expected to make mistakes.) I am not sure two boys could get lost for a week and not have that haunt them on social media for the rest of there their school lives. With time and as adults, we can see how much fun it all was and share it that way.

most of my comments here have not got a response or even one question and that is fine, with that said I really don’t want to respond but yet to give a different outlook, but I have always believed since 2012 when I started this search, Not for one minute do I believe Forrest & Donnie we’re lost or worried about where they were they knew exactly where they were. And we’re never in harms way. Searching for Lewis and Clark chapter of TTOTC is the MOST IMPORTANT chapter.
Also I am going to say from my research that the word “SUNSHINE” that has came on since Jenny’s last Q&A has an astonishing amount of validation to this whole chase.
Everyone should be doing research on this word and synonyms to find the most defining clue to this search. From what I have learned this year there is a reason why FF is pushing this mans You tube channel.

From what I have learned this year there is a reason why FF is pushing this mans You tube channel. I fully agree about probably not being lost. But my family could get lost inside a paper sack. And doing foolish things often leads to great stories and the ones we remember. The Lewis and Clark chap does not play in my solve. I just love it and love the idea of going "that way" for a few days in the mountains and see where you get. I had done several trips like this when I was younger. I just had more food, better gear and only went one valley over. The stories about those trips are boring. I agree with sunshine. That seemed obvious to me from the start, but I could be wrong.
I have not seen a chase related to the Sunshine videos. They are great, but I got nutten there. I'll have to dig in more.

I worry that a video creator (and potential future searcher?) with that particular name has figured out more than he's letting on. I've only watched a couple of his very-well produced videos, and I find myself wondering -- where has this guy been for the last 9 years? He can't be a new character--nobody gets that up-to-speed after only a year or two. So I wonder what other avatars he might have gone by in years past.

In general, I like the videos and its oblivious that he had support from FF in making the analysis. I believe he touches on a few key hints, including the refence to cleaning brown gravy from a kettle and the reference of Casper to Shoshoni. It may be that this was one of the "surprises" coming out this year.
As far as "sunshine" being a theme of the poem, its completely wrong IMO. The poem is about death.

I liked the "smell the sunshine" angle, especially since now I'm inside smelling stale musky drywall. It seems there's a certain something to actually being outside. Much like when forrest was describing being at the t.c. location and he was describing how it smells like a spice cabinet. I envision it smells so good it would make ramen noodles enjoyable to eat(probably not porcupine tho). I have smelt ozone welding, maybe a few months of Corona lockdown and someone will make homemade sunshine and a smell to go with it(Soviet Russia used uv light in school for kids)?

In the comments of one of his videos he states he started in 2017 and "I have to confess: I’ve mainly been a lurker. One of my first exposures to the forums was stumbling upon gossip. Everyone was hating on another forum, and it turned me off. I’ve had some interactions on MW however. I just registered as Overthinker @ THOR. I’m not sure what level of involvement I’ll have. I feel like I need a briefing on all the different online communities." on this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjrFP9EbSH8&t=600s

I agree with overthinker here. Occasionally I wonder if I need a helmet on the inner net. Mystery writin, and Dale's seems alright though. Mws has like a thousand treasure hunting pages, appears to be a warehouse of missing treasure info.

It's professionally done video and with that much 'insider' info on Fenn, you wonder if Forest has arranged for it somehow? Like a video scrapbook

Mws has like a thousand treasure hunting pages, appears to be a warehouse of missing treasure info. Glad you noticed! lol..... Yes, MW is a lot more than Forrest Fenn's treasure hunt, as is this forum. It covers many other subjects on all things Treasure....... but the FF Material is easy to find and immensely valuable....and one of the main Treasure Stories MW follows. From the home page you can click on the link for Forrest Fenn's Treasure and be taken to a full menu of Chase Topics: All links to the Six Questions, Featured Questions, Weekly and Surprise Words, Quotes, Facts, Searcher Stories and more! It's very easy to navigate, considering the enormous amount of info MW holds on the Forrest Fenn Treasure Hunt.... And I continue to update, and group together important interests for searchers convenience..... both here on the MW Forum, and on its Website... The menu page: mysteriouswritings.com/the-thrill-of-the-chase/

It's professionally done video and with that much 'insider' info on Fenn, you wonder if Forest has arranged for it somehow? Like a video scrapbook Fennzenn, I agree. These are not fly by night productions. The videos seem very much in line with the scrapbooks from two aspects: 1) they provide interesting background filler information about FF, and 2) they don’t directly offer any clues about solving the chase. Most of the YouTubers out there are more concentrated on possible solves and theories.
