The commonly listed size of the treasure chest is 10x10x5. However, there seems to be some references to 10x10x6. Does anyone know a link where Forrest said 10x10x6?
I find a quote on Tarry Scant that suggests 10x10x6: “When I started putting precious things in the chest I felt like I was on a roll. Since the chest could hold only 600 cubic inches of treasure I was careful to put only the best and smallest things I could find.”
Here’s a fun too much time in quarantine fact. If the chest is 10x10x6 and 600 cubic inches, if you multiply that by the cost of Eric Sloane's paintings at $17 a square inch, you get a value of $10,200. Surely just a pure random coincidence to 10,200 feet.

Hi theoretical: the chest is roughly 10" x 10" x 6". The *interior* is about 10" x 10" x 5". Moby Dickens Book Shop video (11/2/2013) at 2:04: "So I bought this beautiful little treasure chest 10 inches by 10 inches and 6 inches high. Wonderful Romanesque thing. An antique scholar told me that it was probably Romanesque, 11th or 12th Century." www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RzrIu3hMec&list=PLg2bCqbxRU9VRTmYsKwrL8q08qvwLSMnk&index=10
