Ok, so you're in lockdown, or hospitalised or otherwise have time on your hands to think.
Where do you steal away to in your reveries? And why?
"The spot where I hid the treasure was in my mind from the time I first started thinking about the chase. It is special to me and there was never another consideration. I was going to make it work no matter what. In my reverie I often find myself stealing away to that place and I will always consider it to be mine." MW question 2014.

Part of the reason for asking is whether you transport yourself to a time and a place where any other people are there or not. In my reverie, someone else is there, even though I'm pretty introverted.

Dave, Are you asking in relation to the chase or in general activities? If it’s Chase related, then I would be alone

I am never content and I never know how to relax. I think the only thing that I have done that made my mind stop and then open up was going out alone searching for the treasure. Since that initial awareness, something in my heart was different, A whole new understanding of the world and universe that we live in has seeped in to my psyche. I really see the interconnectedness of everything. So when I can’t go out and search, which is almost all the time, I just TRY to imagine a fast moving creek that’s moving over some boulders to make it slightly white water. There’s a tiny meadow or flat spot with a waterfall cascading down not too far away. And I imagine lots of trees and birds and my mom sitting on a bench looking out over the scene. It sounds more like a dream than a real place.

Snorkeling or scuba diving in Maui does it for me. Meteorite hunting in the desert by myself is also very calming. Fenn treasure searching has never been relaxing for me because in the back of my mind I've had to remain alert for grizzlies.

My mind often wanders back to the castle that isn't there, because we haven't rebuilt it yet. We have a lot of work to do if we are ever gonna catch that tale.

Partial answer from TTOTC (bearing in mind where My War For Me happens in Forrest's timeline):
P87: So I thought about being with my Father on the Lampasas River in Texas with a bobber in the water, catching five-inch bluegills.
Seems that, at that time at least, this was one of Forrest's most happy places (or at least a tranquil one).
