Boa- a feather boa or a boa constrictor. A tight place? Snake river? A flapper would wear a feather boa. A flap? Squeeze? Crush? Feathers?
Forrest is expressing concern for the family’s tragedy. And their resilience. Forrest is a nice guy. He wants to give someone a bear, err, boa hug.

I have suppressed commentary on what I thought were obvious hints in FGM 25 because of the tragedy of the searcher losing both her father last year and her mother more recently from injuries sustained in that DUI crash. If people don't know, the accident actually happened 7 months ago, so no need to ponder why a family was searching in YNP 3 weeks ago when they couldn't actually have been there.

Hi Heidini: no, nothing having to do with boas, constrictors, or snakes in general. Feather boas have appeared before, but those don't connect with me either. Rivers do "snake" around, and of course the Snake River is in the search zone.

There was an anaconda in The Codex by Doug Preston. One of the sons of the Fenn character was strangled by an anaconda and dragged under water. Another brother stabbed it with a machete and freed him. There is an Anaconda MT in our search area. I continuously go back to The Codex because Doug Preston was one of the few people that heard first hand from Forrest about the plan to hide the treasure. He could've taken any little piece of info. from their conversation and entwined and concealed it in his novel. |
