The treasure was found in cowboy heaven, mountains around the power station and bear creek trail.
Follow the clues 1. As I have gone alone in there: heaven- cowboy heaven
2. I can keep my secrets where, and hint of treasures new and old: sphinx mountain ie secret of the sphinx and ancient egypt.
3. Begin it where warm waters halt: madison river is considered warm waters. It halts at hebgen lake. And the warm springs boat launch right down the river where another trailhead starts. Total travel about 7 miles.
4. Take it in the valley down: literally into the valley.
5. Not t00 far, but too far to walk, put in below the home of brown : bear creek trail right at the power station. Or warm springs boT launch. Whichever way you want to go.
6. The rest is fodder. When you actually go into cowboy heaven and follow bear creek trail you come to a game trail that is seldom used, it goes up to a legs and rock face. There are blazes on the trees to guide you. The treasure was found on one if the ledges right below the top of the face.... no place for the week. It's the most amazing view you'll ever see and breath taking.
