Pieced together my map last week and on Sunday I headed out...The map and clues that I found led me a shoreline cache wedged between 2 rocks I found liquor bottles, old leather, a license plate from 1920, old pottery, an old flask, a metal letter "B" and a bunch of other old items...I dug as deep as I could, which was not much seeing I only had a stick, so I plan on going back, I do not think this is the cache, but I am going to use a shovel and dig deeper and see what else is there...I think it might just be a coincidence, but crazy that my map and clues put me right on top of it!

So we have logged many days up in the 1000 islands area over the last few months...no treasure YET! but interestingly 2 times when we thought we had an exact spot we found a horde of Rum Runner era bottles, cans, leather bags, lamps, and other items. We are going to continue searching this winter as weather permits, but the location that this is in will eventually see a hard freeze and snow...Fingers crossed for a warm winter!
