Came across this video yesterday, it was released shortly after the photos: youtu.be/n4ldxUnbldsIt's mostly a lady being interviewed, but notice a man is with her during the search. Could he be the mysterious man from the east that announced it to Fenn? Their solve so far is fairly compelling, so I'm interested to see the rest whenever they release it. |

That is some great thinking they have done. I love that it doesn't depend on complex rearranging of letters or other code breaking techniques.

The video itself is engaging and entertaining, but the first half of the solve seems average at best. I'll suspend full judgement until they release the second half.

One thing about these solves that are based on very generic clues (and there are sooo many of them) is that they still could be right. Just missing the best solutions for the clues. But you are right, as a solve they do seem to be lacking real foundation. Of course, that's just an opinion. Maybe Forrest hid the correct solve in just that sort of way (needle in a haystack stuff). |
