There has been speculation that the YouTube videos by Paul Paul are a credible indication he is the finder. I think that is true after watching them. Today when I checked to see if he had added any more, it appears that all his videos are gone.
Interesting.

Not really surprising. He has probably gotten the attention of a lot of, if not the majority, of the seven percenters. Not to mention some attorneys.
He has probably realized what a HUGE mistake he made.....getting more attention than he really wanted!!!

Paul Paul isn't any different than many other searchers. His presence lends some value to his claims, but there are others with the same sort of intelligence and presence of mind. I don't know why people are putting him above others, all with the same claims. Other than he put it on video, I guess.

It was not him. In his videos before he deleted them, he talked about emailing with FF over the past year. FF said that he has not had any contact since 2018 with the Finder. Just another person lying. If the Finder wanted to be known, he would just coordinate with FF, everybody else is just lying.

Three days ago when Forrest posted on Dal's: "The treasure chest was found by a man I did not know and had not communicated with since 2018," I'm afraid the jig was up for Paul Paul, who evidently had plenty of contact with Forrest since 2018. A number of searchers (WYMustIgo was one) said they knew Paul Paul and didn't think he was the type to lie or fabricate such a tale. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt, partly because he didn't strike me as the typical Chase "rooster."
Coincidentally, prior to the chest being found, the last time I emailed Forrest was regarding the status of his and Peggy's old place in Mexico Beach, FL, following the hurricane. That was in October 2018. ;-)

2018 was also the year he put out the revised edition of OUAW and his first “gut feeling” comments. Someone was spiraling in closer on the chest. 40 chapters in OUAW revised - that number 40 again! The mystery remains.

I believe Paul Paul had a partner in the US, worked with this person, the person retrieved it and Paul Paul let him take the prize. I know many of you don't believe someone would do that but I've listened to Paul Paul over the years in videos and chats and he was a good guy, hated the in-fighting and wasn't interested in all the behind the scenes drama. He genuinely wanted to help solve it and that was it. He could've communicated with Forrest since 2018. Forrest was talking about the finder/retriever, not Paul Paul.

Hi Goldilocks: okay, say you're right -- that it was the *retriever* who last communicated with Forrest in 2018, not Paul Paul. So you're saying that when Forrest says "finder" he is not referring to the solver. But when Paul Paul said multiple times in his video that he is "the finder" he was using that word differently than Forrest was. And when Forrest said the finder was shy, he meant the retriever not Paul Paul. I still find the solver-retriever partnership pretty unusual.
You and others apparently have been aware of Paul Paul for some time -- long before May of this year -- while I knew nothing of him before a week ago. My recollection is that someone said he even shared the state he was focused on more than a year ago (not that he couldn't have completely changed states since then). Can you tell us about that? I thought someone posted that it was Colorado.

He's saying "I"/"eye" is the key word. The eye on the wooden stick next to the key inside the treasure pic was meant as a hint for us to get the bird's "eye" view in order to know both wwwh and the final location. A bird's eye view comes from its nest? A reference to an Eagle's nest maybe? The Nokhu Crags in the Never Summer Range: its name is derived from the Arapaho language, Neaha-no-xhu, meaning "Eagles Nest." The Nokhu Crags summit lies just northwest of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountain National Park, near the headwaters of the Michigan River. The peak is prominently visible from US 14 and can be seen throughout the southern North Park basin (the "big bullpen") where it is known also known as "the Crags" or "Sleeping Indian" for its resemblance to the form of a supine chief. To the east lie the shallow basins of Snow Lake and the Michigan or American Lakes; to the north lies a snow filled couloir; to the west the mountain descends directly into the deep waters of Lake Agnes; and to the south lie Static Peak, Mount Richthofen, and the remainder of the Never Summer Mountain Range. I say the keyword is peace. When viewed from 50,000', the three converging mountain ranges around the final spot form a peace sign: get the big picture. go in peace

Goldilocks,
Has Paul Paul responded to you? I saw you sent him a query in his latest video.

Okay, with this latest video from Paul Paul, I now know he is not the solver nor a part of the solver/finder team. I strongly suspected it when Goldilocks informed us that as recently as last year he was focused on Colorado. But I/eye/aye or whatever other homonyms he's alluding to w.r.t. the word that is key tells me he doesn't have the keyword, and therefore he doesn't have WWWH.

I think Paul Paul is saying the key word we should take in the hint left by the finder in the picture is "eye." I don't believe he's implying that it's the key word in the poem; "peace" is the key word in the poem. Peace out.
