New Mexico
warm waters halt disease
My top 2 most likely to be wrong:
1.) Ten Thousand Waves Spa NM on Hyde Park Road "surrounded by twenty acres of pinons and junipers." Stout-hearted Men in TTOTC written in wave pattern and mentions "10,000", from an operetta called New Moon. There is a room called New Moon at the spa. This is where I was hoping the journey began.
2.) Ojo Caliente Spa NM The logo of the spa is exactly like the animal hide behind Forrest's couch which can be seen in many pics taken of Forrest.
Really I was just hoping my visit to New Mexico could begin in a spa!

(other than following another 8 clues to the chest) You and I were on the same page, Jenny. With so many great WWWHs, what pointed us to the correct one? I have been chasing that “confirmer” down since 2013 with little success. The best I was ever able to find was the picture in the old Flywater book on page 107 of a fisherman fishing at Ojo Caliente Hot Spring in Yellowstone. That was the only objective “confirmer” I felt directly pointed to a WWWH using TTOTC. mm

He said look at the big picture and that there are many places in the Rocky Mountains where warm waters halt to paraphrase. If anyone has the exact quote please feel free to add on. But if you look at the big picture, you are looking globally. What are the two warmest waters on Earth? The Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. I chose the Mediterranean Sea because it’s also known as the middle sea. But the question really is, how would you confirm any possible solution? I have no. idea.

Early on, I thought warm waters might be a hint at the warm relationship that was held between the US and Canada in regards to natural resources and water rights across the international border. Those warm relations get halted at the border. But a physical presence is needed to complete the solve because your standing on the border: eservices.cic.gc.ca/rescalc/resCalcStartNew.doForrest also mentioned that Canada was inadvertently cut off the map in TFTW. I wonder why? www.85fis.doncondra.org/Mustang%20article.htmAt the Un-National Monument along the Canadian Border BY WILLIAM E. STAFFORD This is the field where the battle did not happen, where the unknown soldier did not die. This is the field where grass joined hands, where no monument stands, and the only heroic thing is the sky. Birds fly here without any sound, unfolding their wings across the open. No people killed—or were killed—on this ground hallowed by neglect and an air so tame that people celebrate it by forgetting its name.

Warm waters literally halted there...for Moses (remember him?). If we begin 'it' where...and look later in the poem we have the word 'tired' , begin at the start of the reversed 'it' means begin at red. Red is the first colour of the rainbow. The chest is at the end of the rainbow. Begin at something Red I reckon.
