I think I figured this one out which might mean this was the easiest one if I got it. Here is what I found and hope to see others jump in on this hunt. I realized the general area from the poem, the reference to the Q pointed me to a place in Banbury. I ended up at Castle Quay. The castle in the image I suppose confirms that a bit. So I knew it must be by the mall and thus the canal because of the watery flow. I did a bunch of walking google maps to find the location and realized that the canon ball on fire is likely representing Spiceball Road or Park. If you start here you will see how the poem comes together to find what I think is the object. See the canal lock and turn to the left and head down to the object/location you are supposed to find. Anyone else find this red and black stranger?

Got it! Well done. It helps us to work out how the clues work

That appears to be the perfect solve for this one. Great job! Hope I can return a solve on another one.

Matthew, how were you able to do a walking tour like this? I thought street view only shows places the google car could drive.

I tend to overthink these things, but aren’t all the finds supposed to be one word answers?

You can look at photos on Google at the places and in some parts Google have "walked" the area with the special cameras.
I didn't notice this originally when I made my solve but the compass has a clue to find almost the exact location. And on the name I think you have to pick a single word like you said.

I was wondering how the compass fit in. Also, I realized that the answer could be what that thing is, as opposed to its name, which ends up being the same letter anyway.

This seems like a perfectly plausible solve to me, I knew the compass was key somehow but I feel some of the image doesn't add up. If anyone wants to PM me with their answers I am more than happy to try and help with another poem!
